1. Plot Orientation & Main Entrance Direction

According to Vastu Shastra, the main entrance is the gateway through which positive energy (Prana) enters the home. North, East, and North-East facing main doors are considered most auspicious for residential properties in Bangalore.

MONOME Practice: We conduct precise compass orientation surveys and solar path analysis before finalizing structural column layouts.

2. Kitchen Placement (Agni Corner)

The kitchen governs the fire element (Agni). It must ideally be positioned in the South-East quadrant of the home. Cooking should be done facing East to harness morning sunlight and positive energy flow.

MONOME Practice: Our modular kitchen layouts ensure the hob (fire) and sink (water) are separated into different zones to prevent elemental conflict.

3. Master Bedroom (Nairutya Corner)

The South-West corner (Nairutya) represents earth stability and strength. Placing the master bedroom in the South-West grounds the head of the family, providing financial security and peaceful sleep.

MONOME Practice: Bed positions are designed so your head points South or West while sleeping, aligned with Earth's magnetic orientation.

4. Water Bodies & Underground Tanks (Jal Zone)

Underground water storage sumps, borewells, and fountains must be located in the North-East quadrant (Eeshanya zone). Overhead water tanks should be situated in the South-West or West to maintain structural balance.

5. Pooja Room & Spiritual Spaces

The prayer room should ideally face North-East or East. Worshippers should face East or North during prayer, creating a serene, highly energized sanctuary within the home.
